Short Bio
I hold a PhD in Machine Learning and Robotics from Imperial College London and a MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently, I am a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Spotify, where I lead projects in the Entity Resolution and Linking workstrean within the Content Platform Research team. During the past 12 years I have worked on all aspects of Machine Learning. Including 8 years on Deep Learning and Computer Vision, Bayesian inference, Decision Trees, Large Language Models and Audio Processing. I have 4 patents, 14 papers, h-index of 8 and over 260 citations. In my most cited paper we used Generative Adversarial Networks to create high-resolution synthetic medical images indistinguishable from real ones by human experts. I previously worked on: a) Deep Learning for breast cancer detection at Kheiron Medical, b) Deep Learning for visual perception in autonomous driving at Toyota Motor Europe, c) Virtual assistants and Bayesian insurance claims modelling at AIG, d) Deep Learning for image understanding at Cortexica Vision Systems.
